			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Exports of gems and jewelry from India, the world’s largest supplier, advanced 55 percent in February to $2.3 billion, an industry group said.</p>

<p>Shipments rose from $1.5 billion in the same period a year earlier, according to preliminary data published by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council on its Web site.</p>

<p>Exports in the April-February period climbed to $25 billion, 10 percent more than the previous period.</p>]]></content:encoded>
